Live Migration of Exchange server 2016

I am in the process of moving all my VMs from old servers and storage to new servers and storage. They are in the same cluster.

I want to move my exchange server using live migration from my old compellent storage to my new powerstore. My question is, can I do a live migration of the exchange server from host and storage to new host and storage? I read before that you have to do it offline, is that true?

The old VM is ESXI 6.7, the new VM is ESXI 6.7.

Hi there.

Yes you can, but you need to have vCenter. If you are only running ESXi nodes (stand alone mode) you dont have the vMotion feature available

Sure, as long as they are in the same CPU family, or you have EVC enabled, you can just migrate them (compute and storage) from one host to another.

As long as all the technical stars align. I would personally do the host and storage as separate migrations.
