Latest ISO of vsphere install and intel H470 chipset Failure

I have a new workstation. Dell XPS with an 11th gen i7 on an H470 chipset (Rocket Lake) and the system does not recognize any drives for installation other than the USB. I have tried spinning disks, SSD, and NVME. I have tried vsphere 7 and 6.7 ISOs. I also got no network card detected but I overcame that by installing an intel server card for network access. Any help in this matter would be awesome. Thanks

Assuming it is the XPS 8940 with H470 chipset, you could make sure that the SATA Operation is set for AHCI and not RAID. Typically when it is RAID, that means it enables the Intel RST (software RAID). Software RAID is not supported in any version of ESXi.

Other than that, there is not much else to look for to change the setting. It is becoming a roll of the dice to install ESXi on systems not in the HCL.
