Hi,
I have an EMC SAN with 4 disks of 1 TB (4TB total), I have configured RAID 10 so currently have 2 TB active.
Each VM consumes 60-80 GB HD, so this SAN can serve 25-35 VM's.
My question is, what is the best LUN size in this case? (note that all VM's have more or less the same I/O load).
Thanks.
you wrote "Each on different SP", what is SP?
SP are store processore, but in your case I think you have only 1 SP.
I read the article that you send but by his calculation I need LUN of 2 TB which is all the space I have
Yes, but you have also to limit the number of VMs on each LUN.

You can create 3 or 4 LUNs.
You have a AX4, right?
I suggest 2 LUNs (to have less that 20 VM on the same LUN) each on a different SP.
You can also use this site:

But the big problem is that all LUNs are on the same disks, so IMHO it does not make sense to have a lot of LUNs.

I'm using the "StorCenter Pro ix4-200r".
