LAG on the storage cannot show up on the esxi host

hi,

I have a storage connected to the physical switch with 2 NICs x 10Gb and configured with Link Agregation..

I have an iSCSi Lun in this storage...

in the esxi host I have configured a vSwitch with a vmk dedicated for this storage..

when I add the storage adapter to add the iscsi, I can can see the storage on "devices" but NEVER in the list of Storages!!

Did I miss something?!

Hi,

did you already created a VMFS on those devices?

If so, it could be that the ESXi hosts recognizes those VMFS as a snapshot which wouldn't be mounted automatically.

the same storage if I unconfigure the LAG config from it and from the physical switch I can add it as a datastore without problem...

I don't think that we need to configure the esxi's physical NICs as LAG also!? no?

Yes, if no LAG configured on the Physical switch..esxi physical nics doesn't require it.
