Insufficient disk space on datastore

I am attempting a storage vmotion between NFS datastores and get the error "Insufficient disk space on datastore".

ESXi 5.1b

The VM has three disks and a snapshot:

55 G, thin

100 G, thin

50 G, thick eager zeroed

The destination datastore:

Capacity: 10.00 TB

Provisioned Space: 12.66 TB

Free Space: 4.50 TB

So, plenty of space, but it is over-provisioned.

Storage DRS is enabled and the Utilized Space Threshold is set to 80%.  Same issue if I disable Storage DRS.

If I drag the VM over any Storage DRS Datastore, active or not, the mouse changes to a circle with a slash through it, indicating an invalid destination. Other datastores show as acceptable, including one that is over-provisioned. Same results if I move one disk at a time. Same results if I increase the destination datastore to 15TB so it is no longer over-provisioned.

I will try deleting the snapshot when the VM owner is done with it, but that isn't the message I'm getting.

Is this a bug that is patched by update 2?

Is there a setting I am missing?
