I am working with a Bladecenter here that has 2 built in arrays, and I've added RAID Conroller Modules. IBM Tells me this can function as shared storage for ESXi 5, and I am in the process of configuring this. I have configured 700G arrays on each can, and set up the datastores on my ESXi 5 box, but now I don't know what to do next.
I want ESXi to see that as a single store and write to both, providing me a bulletproof level of redundancy. Each array is RAID 5 with a global hot spare in each. Has anyone done something similar?
