How to recreate a missing descriptor file ?

Hi,

I have lost the descriptor file of my vm. how to create a new one??

Hi,

Each disk drive for a virtual machine consists of a pair of .vmdk files. One is a text file containing descriptive data about the virtual hard disk and the second is the actual content of that disk, for more information check the below article which describe the use and creation of missing descriptor file

To recreate the descriptor file use http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1026353 OR http://www.phdvirtual.com/VMDKstubgenerator
