Host Disk Alignment In ESX4?

I can't seem how to change the disk alignment in the the local vmfs on our esx4 host to the correct 64kb ending, its allways 63, And I dont see it anywhere in advanced or text mode install, has anyone else noticed this or knows what the physical layout it (maybe its on the COS that is not aligned correctly??)

Thanks!

Alan

I don't think it's possible to align the local VMFS from the installer... unfortunately

Have you used VC to create the VMFS volumes?

Otherwise you have to drop your VMFS partition.

See: http://www.vmware.com/pdf/esx3_partition_align.pdf
