HP DL380 G5 - VSA Compatible?

I've been working on this for a few hours, and I am finally at a wall.

We are trying to use a couple DL380 G5 for VSA's. It doesn't show the VSA on the HCL for this model, but all the hardware that is installed is compatible.

The error that I am getting on the VSA Installer is: "Failed to Audit host with error null. Unsupported Hardware."

And that's as far as I can get...

HP DL380 G5

Xeon E5345

4GB RAM

Smart Array P400

4 NICs (2x Bradcom NetXtreme BCM5708, 2x Intel 82571EB)

I deleted the networks I had and re-added them ...

KB http://kb.vmware.com/kb/2007363 contains helpful information - including what to do after a failed installation - i.e. removing vSwitches.

If you do have additional RAM, consider upgrading the host to at least 6GB as mentioned by athlon_crazy

I didn't try it on this hardware yet, but I think it should work. Can you confirm that the host is configured properly? Especially all the IP settings like IP address, subnet mask, gateway address, DNS server address(es) are correct and resolvable.

Could be because of your RAM is 4GB while the minimum requirement should be 6GB for each ESXi host that participating VSA cluster. ref

I deleted the networks I had and re-added them, now I am getting "not a greenfield host. invalid number of vswitches".

Looked around on Google again, and nothing related to this.

Okay, starting this back up...

Upgraded both the esxi hosts that we are going to use for VSA to 8GB, and am I still getting the "Failed to audi host with error null; unsupported hardware."

I've got the EVC mode turned on in the BIOS, even though the summary page of the host shows that it is disabled, all the NICs are hooked up, but I have not configured them or added them to any switched, because when I do that I get the error that it's a not a "Greenfield Host".

Is there any logs anywhere explaining the error, or am I boned?

EDIT:

Attached are my logs, looks like some sorta Java error, but I don't know...

EDIT 2:

Had to set the gateways on the networks. Had the DUMMY ones on there, but still didn't work. Added a router with the gateway and it works now.

For my next issue I'm having if anyone wants to be awesome and help out.
