Hey Everyone,
We have some hosts that are dying on us (non-responsive) on a regular basis and we are trying to figure this out. Their death only happens at night when backups typically run (Veeam). It appears there is snapshot activity right before the storage becomes unresponsive.
These are HP servers DL385 G8. 10 Gig Fiber Channel cards added after the fact. ESXi 5.1. Running AMD processors. Both Fiber Channel and Iscsi is working.
Is it OK to run both these protocols on the same ESXi host at the same time?
What else should we be looking at?
