EVA8000 ESXi 5

Hi has anyone got any info on when EVA 8000 will be supported with ESXi5?

I doubt it ever will be.  EVA8000 has been EOL for almost 2 years (if not longer) and was released over 7 years ago.

its up to HP to do the support matrix testing, and I doubt they would do that testing for a 7+ year old array thats EOL.

It may not be on the supported list, but it does work fine, for us anyway.

Strange because SRM5 is supported.

i don't supopse your using SRM 5 with EVA8000?

Nope, we're not using SRM and wouldn't have a need for it on the clusters that access the EVA 8000s (which we're phasing out).

Have you had the need to call support recenctly? Just wondering if they'll still provide best effort support?
