Hi all,
for a customer, we have the plan of setting up a small environment with VM's ( 2x HP DL360 host machines ) with a storage behind it ( 60TB on a 5 node HP P4500. )
I have a question, which is probably easily found, but I'm not able to get the correct answer. Does the free ESXi support iSCSI connections, so we can store the VM's in a datastore created on the P4500?
In time, this customer will probably get a licensed version of VMWare, with vCenter Server and HA, possibly the enterprise license for FT, but right now, they want to test without license ( so not a 60day trial enterprise license )
Thanks in advance
Kind regards,
Kay Dieckmann

Hi Kay,
there is no limit on iSCSI connectivity on the free versions of ESXi.
