ESXI 4.1 STORAGE

Does anyone know how to get past the 2TB of storage restriction for ESXI 4.1? I have 3 TB of storage but can only see 2.

What kind of storage is this? DAS, NAS, SAN?

Most likely you have to split the LUN into junks smaller than 2TB minus 512 Bytes, which is the limit for ESX(i) 4.1

You have to use your perc setup tool to carve more than one volume out of your disks. So instead of one 3 TB volume, you may create 3x1 TB volumes and use these volumes for separate datastores.
