Configuring iSCSI using HP MSA2324i and ESXi 4.1

Hi Guys,

Quick one for you all - when I'm configuring the VMkernel ports for iSCSI connection, I use one VMkernel port group per vswitch for iSCSI - a total of 2 ports.

When I configure the properties of the vmhba, i add bith of my VMkernel ports to it, and looking at the properties of the vmhba - on the discovery tab - do i need to specifiy the IP addreses of BOTH MSA array controllers, or just the primary?

I wasnt sure how this affected MSA failover and / or multipathing?

my guess only primary ip is enough;

the other iSCSI target ports will be reported to ESX 4.1 when discovery,
