Concert thin disks to thick

I can find all sorts of ways to convert a thick disk to thin. However, I have a pressing need to convert the thin disk to thick because of an application requirement. As it is, I have already created all the disks thin and they are all about 200GB in size. Can anyone tell me how I can covert thin to thick with vmkfstools? I do not want to use storage vmotion. I'm sure there is a way of doing this via vmkfstools

Yes you can use vmkfstools to do so. You'll want to use the -j | --inflatedisk option which will inflate the thin disk to full and you'll see it get converted from thin to thick

e.g

vmkfstools -j mydisk.vmdk
