My apologies in advance if this is not the right place to ask my question. If so, may the moderator please appropriately move the topic.
I have an HP Proliant DL-180 G6 running vSphere 5.0 (so far, in trial mode). What I want is to see the state of the disk array and its elements. I am not very experienced with vSphere, so if someone can please give me step-by-step requirements and directions as to where to get and how to install the appropriate provider onto the system so that I can monitor the array health status, that would be greatly appreciated.
Unfortunately, I have only one server, so I have no opportunity to move the VM running vCenter to another machine, should this procedure require interacting with the machine while it's in maintenance mode via vCenter. Please bear that in mind when giving your advice.
