vmcreate.pl and Distributed Virtual Switches...

Hi,

I use the vmcreate.pl example to create a new vm. Everything is working fine, except if I try to connect the nic to a PortGroup of a Distributed Virtual switch.

There is no error from the script, but the VM is not correct connected to the PortGroup. Have anybody got an idea how to do this?

Yes handling vDS will be slightly different as you most likely need to locate the vDS portgroup from the vDS (distributed switch), and then set it. Unfortunately I don't have a vDS setup, but you'll definitely need to modify the code to handle this as it won't be using the local host's standard vSwitch.
