vsphere replication 8.3 pairing Site failed

Hi,

I have 2 site with 2 VRA server replicate together, it's working fine before, but now one of VRA can not login (when access link https://VRA02/dr) then can't pair VRA01 to VRA02 properly, i tried check time sync, unregister VRA02, generate new cert but maybe making the problem even more complicated, this issue still exist. how can i troubleshoot this?

I don't want reinstall VRA02 because  i afraid data replicate maybe lose if the installing incorrectly.

May i backup the data replicate to other location and restore normally? such as create new VM and add existing vm disk from data replicate before?

regards

You can export and import settings between VRMS. It's not recommended to re-use an existing vm or corresponding files.

See: https://docs.vmware.com/en/vSphere-Replication/8.3/com.vmware.vsphere.replication-admin.doc/GUID-03B...

If you are seeing site pairing issues and SSO issues, I would start by verifying the health of the VMDir on both vCenter servers, you may find that https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/83896 Using the vSphere Diagnostic Tool (VDT) is a very useful step in identifying if you have expired certificates/stale entries in your VMDir, this is the most common issue with vSphere replication site pairing.

Best of luck,

vFouad.
