vSphere replication applliance move to new SRM pair

I have an SRM server pair that has vSphere replication registered against it.    I have multiple vSphere replication servers managed by each replication appliance.

I have created a new SRM pair.  Is it possible to move my existing vSphere replication appliances and servers to the new SRM pair without having to just deploy new vR appliances and servers.    I dont want to lose any of my existing replication configuration.

Not a very elegant solution.   

Would unregistering each vR server and then the vR appliance from the SRM pair and then repairing them with the new SRM pair work?  or does unregistering vR servers remove any replications configured on them?
