vSphere Replication restore test

HI,

I have inherited a 2 node environment, 1 cluster runs host1, another cluster runs host2.

vreplication is setup to replicate VMs on host1 local storage to host2 local storage.

I have been asked to test restore. All the doc I managed to find so far test are performed using SRM. Since we do not have SRM but only run the vsphere replication appliance, I am looking for proper instructions.

vSphere Replication doesn't have a non-disruptive testing capability. Without SRM you would need to run a failover/recovery to test.
