vSphere Replication: How to Replicate 2 VMs at the EXACT same time

Hello

We are looking at using vSphere Replication between two sites (Live & DR).

We have a fairly basic set-up, but have a requirement to replicate an APP and DB server.  However, we need the snapshots for the replication to happen at exactly the same time to ensure the data for the two servers are keep in sync.

Is they a way of configuring Replication to ensure this happens?

Thanks!

vSphere Replication doesn't currently support multi-VM consistency groups. You could use array-based replication to accomplish this.

Often, in a tiered application stack, the changes only occur on the DB so the APP server doesn't need to be replicated at the exact same time. It might be worth testing and seeing what your application requires or how it functions if you aren't replicating them both at the same time.
