storage Vmotion VR appliance

Hi all, just a quick question. Are we allowed to move the VR Applicance 5.1 from one Datastore to the other? We are currently running VCenter 5.1 U2 and VI Applicance 5.1.2.0. I'm moving it from the old storage to new storage device.

Hi,

If doing svMotion of the appliance to another datastore - there won't be any issues.

If you are doing cold migration and also changing the host - you might need to manually configure Network Protocol Profile (IP pool), if the network is changed, before being able to power on the appliance.
