replication and backup

I am thinking of using vSphere Replication 8.0 or 8.3. What is your suggestion about backup software that uses snapshot in places that use replication. For example, I will use veeam backup.  What happens if replication and veeam backup for a backup run at the same time. What do you suggest in structures like this? How do the places that use both designs?

Question to refer:  If Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS) quiescing is enabled when configuring a virtual machine for replication, will this cause issues with backup solutions that also use VSS?
