Its possible to run different versions of Vsphere replicator in 2 different sites running different versions of ESXI Hosts.
Site 1 : ESXI Hosts 6.7 - Vphere Replicator Version 8.3
Site 2 : ESXI Hosts 6.5 - Vphere Replicator Version 8.1
based on VMware Product Interoperability Matrices this combination is not supported, please check for more details => https://www.vmware.com/resources/compatibility/sim/interop_matrix.php#interop&671=&671=
VMware vSphere Replication 8.3 will work only with same version 8.3.1 or 8.3.2, so will be recommended to have same version on both sites or any other combination supported in matrix
Hi @szafa ,
vSphere replication supports N-1 version on paired site. For ex: 8.3 at one site and the paired site can have 8.2 or later version.
Please refer 'What's New' section under release notes for this information --> VR 8.3 release notes
Hope that helps

@ashilkrishnan good to know 😀. I didn't use latest version yet but matrix is always first place to check.
