Hi,
I have deployed 2 Vsphere Replication on 2 remote sites with 2 different network subnets
Both sites are able to ping each other. Both side are also able to telnet port 80.
However when I am connecting to remote site of vsphere appliance, SITE PAIRING or BREAK OPERATION with the following error
org.apache.http.conn.httphostconnectexception : connection to http://remote_host:80 refused"
I am confused to where can I troubleshoot the errors on?
Anyone have meet similar error and how do you solve on the errors?
Thanks
Hi,
Can you elaborate on "Both sites are able to ping each other" - what do you understand by site here?
You must ensure that the machines where the vSphere Web Client and the vSphere Replication appliances can ping the other site as well as the vCenter Server machine can ping the other site.

Hi Martin,
2 Site --> 2 different datacenter connect through MPLS link
Both Vsphere Web client and appliance are able to ping each other
Sorry, for the delay. I missed your response.
When you add the remote_host address during connecting to external site do you enter the vCenter Server address? or VR appliance address? It must be the first one and the VR appliance must have a ping to the remote vCenter Server.
In case this is not the case I'd suggest to open a service request and provide the logs so the VMware team can thoroughly investigate them and resolve your issue.
