Hello SRM forum users,
We are currently trying to deal with a customer question subjected the deployment of VMWare SRM (Site Recovery Manager) on both sites (Protected and Disaster)
using the same IP Addresses, for convenience purposes in case for instance, applications have hard-coded IP Addresses.
Can you pls clarify if this is feasible and which are the prerequisites?
For instance we need stretched VLANs with different IDs?
Is there a relevant documentation available?
Any advise and guidance will be much appreciated.

"Some environments might be able to use the same network IP addresses at both the primary site and the DR site.
This ability is referred to as a stretched virtual LAN (VLAN) or stretched network setup. Other environments might have a requirement to use different network IP addresses
(for example, in different VLANs) at the primary site relative to the DR site. VMware vCenter Site Recovery Manager supports both of these scenarios."
