Upgraded vSphere Replication from 8.3.1 to 8.4 and can't login to VAMI

Just completed an in-place upgrade of vSphere Replication from 8.3.1 to 8.4 and I can't login to the VAMI. Also how do i create the admin user as this wasn't prompted as part of the upgrade.

I can login as root via the web console but not via the VAMI.

Any ideas?

Hi @BayerCGOps ,

Post upgrade to 8.4, additional steps are required and admin needs to be configured

Please perform steps mentioned under 'What to do next'   -->  VR 8.4 upgrade

Login to VR VM console using root user and configure admin user by running: passwd admin

Register VR with vCenter --> Register VR 8.4 to vCenter using new VAMI interface

Hope that helps
