These both are physically separate regions, but we have high speed connectivity among the two sites. Both are in different SSO domain but the SSO domain has the same name vpshere.local.
I would like to configure replication among both sites. We have a couple of Virtual Machines in Site 1 as well as Site 2. For redundancy, we would like to configure replication to and fro from both the sites.
However, at the moment, I am not able to connect to the other site from both the vCenter Servers.
When I try to connect from Site 1 to Site 2
When Connecting from Site 2 to Site 1
I have checked the VR Appliance at both sides and confirmed that the vCenter Servers are listening on Port 80.

What am I doing wrong here? Has anyone got any suggestions? Is it the different versions that might be causing the issues?
vSphere Replication requires the same major version of vCenter and vSphere Replication on both sites, so your problem may be caused by the version mismatch. See the vSphere Replication FAQ: https://storagehub.vmware.com/#!/vsphere-replication/vsphere-replication-faq/introduction-and-genera...
Can I use vSphere Replication to replicate a VM between vCenters running different versions of vSphere Replication (eg. VR 5.5 to 6.0)?
To replicate between vCenters, vSphere Replication requires the same major version (eg. 5.5.x > 5.5.x) of vCenter and vSphere Replication at both source and target. This is the only officially tested and supported configuration. Check the VMware Product Interoperability Matrix if you have any questions about matching vCenter and vSphere Replication versions.

Thank you Richardson Porto. I am going to upgrade vcenter to the 6.5 at the other site and will try. Thx for the info & clarification
