Unable to configure replication for virtual machine

Dear all

Hi

i have protected one of vm with vr 6.5 now i start replicated machine after few hours and then shutdown replicated machine and remove from inventory and then delete job from outgoing replications now when i want create the other job from first protected vm it show this error :

Unable to configure replication for virtual machine 'Replica Machine' because group 'Replica Machine' cannot be created. Another virtual machine 'Replica Machine' that has the same instance UUID '34470050-c750-2128-4138-11103a0245da' already exists on protection site '10.10.50.52'.

how can solve the problem ?

Hi,

If you know GID value of that replication, use the Managed Object Browser (MOB) of the vSphere Replication Management server to delete the replication. You can follow the remediation steps from following URL.

To find out your GID value for specific replication, you can check it from VRMS DB or hms.log file (located at /opt/vmware/hms/logs/) on the primary vSphere Replication Management (VRM) appliance (server). The following URL shows you the procedure to find out the GID value from VRMS DB.
