Exclude Disk in Site Recovery Manager Replication

I have a server that has a new 2TB hard drive attached, but our SAN at our DR site does not have enough space to accommodate the 2TB disk after replicating.  The 2TB disk is not important enough to need to recover it with the VM.  Is there a way to set up SRM replication to exclude this one specific disk and just detach the disk if it needs to recover to our other site?  Or if anyone has any other suggestions on how to work around this issue.

Thanks!

You can select disk you want with Host Based Replication...

also you can set thin or thick to dr site...

Hi,

From your post, I see that you are using VR with SRM on top of it. What you can do is to configure the VM for replication and exclude that specific disk for replication. Then, when you add the replicated VM in SRM protection group, you can Configure protection properties and detach the disk.
