Disk signature on SRM/FT

Hi all,

I am using an application that is licenced for both MAC address and disk signature and I'd like to know if FT and/or SRM can preserve the disk (ID) signature.

With FT the two VMs share a common disk so that the disk signature and MAC address will not change -

With SRM is different - The MAC address will need to be fixed because when the VM starts in the recovery site then a new MAC address will be generated. Depending on how the datastores are replicated the signature will not change.
