Automating network port group selection in vsphere replication

Hi, When using vsphere replication tool to recover servers in DR datacenter, the tool does not gives option to select the network settings . I have to manually  add the port groups and power-on the system at remote vcenter. Is there a way to automate this process, when replicating a bulk of vms ~100-150. Let me know if there is any other way to fasten the process and avoid the manual burden.

I am using vsphere replication appliance version 5.8

Thanks

The only way to automate this process is through Site Recovery Manager.  Automating and orchestrating BC/DR is a huge part of the value that SRM offers. The other additional benefit is the ability to non-disruptively test your recovery plans.

So with vsphere replication appliance there no way to automate this?  As per your recommendation, uninstall vsphere replication and install SRM is the only way out. I am using this tool fo vm migration to remote site.

Correct. Also, don't uninstall vSphere Replication, SRM handles the automation and orchestration, vSphere Replication is still needed to handle the replication of the VMs (or you could use array-based replication).
