I have a requirement in which I need to have the unique id for each vm and the server on which they run. I am able to retrieve the vm id's with vmware-cmd getid, but am unsure of how to obtain the server id. I am currently running vmware-server 1.0.3 on windows xp sp2. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
