vmreconfig.pl add device CD/DVD drive does not seem to work.

Hi,

I can't seem to get this to work. I always got this error Can't use an undefined value as an ARRAY reference at /usr/lib/vmware-viperl/apps/vm/..//AppUtil/VMUtil.pm line 889.

Any hints?

Have you taken a look here on the parameters to vmreconfig.pl http://www.vmware.com/support/developer/viperltoolkit/viperl15/doc/vmreconfig.html

Can you provide the output of your schema file vmreconfig.xsd ?

Thanks for the link. Well, it did not help. I have attached the vmreconfig.xsd file. For more information, I am running VMware-VIPerl-Toolkit-1.6.0-104313-Appliance on a Virtual Machine.

I'm sorry, can you post the vmreconfig.xml that is the actual file or a sample file that you'll need to configure for the modification to your VM.

The xml shared worked fine, both Network adapter and CD/DVD drive got added. Please share the exact error you are getting.
