We're performing "year end cleanup" in our VMWare environment and wanted to know if anyone has found an easy way to determine if "old/disconnected" vm files may be laying around on our storage. Sometimes VM's get removed from the VC but never get cleaned up off the san, so before I go attempting to create a script to find this information I was wonder if anyone has already invented this. Anyone...anyone...Bueller?
On a similar yet slightly different note...has anyone put the VIPERL toolkit on their ESX hosts without any issues? I haven't attempted this yet but wanted to see if there were any gotchya's before I tried.
