Use CIM API to create inventory of images

Hello everybody,

I've just started to use the ESX CIM API and was wondering if anybody can give me a hint how I can gather image inventory information. I would like to dump information on images like their name, vCPUs, Memory and Storage Allocation to a simple text file. There are some samples available in the web but not I'm looking for.

Any kind of hint, link or support is highly appreciated.

Regards,

Opilio

Opilio,

Have you looked at our Perl Sample Code http://communities.vmware.com/docs/DOC-10665 and quick demo on how to pull data using CIM. I have also asked the team to add more sample code on this topic.

Regards

Pablo
