We have developed an internal app that supports Microsoft Virtual Server 2005, Microsoft WSv and ESX 3.x to allow for labs throughout the company to virtualize with their preferred virtualization provider. ESX/ESXi is by far the superior solution except for one glaring omission from the prespective of our workflow. We utilize the read-only abilities for the Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 Ax control heavily when performing training or hosting a meeting that requires a VM. This allows us to have multiple viewers but based on the parameters passed, the keyboard and mouse hooks are disabled. Is anything like this possible with the Ax control from VMware? Any insight would be welcome.
