Looking to use the TaskManager to create a task history collector using the API but the max collector property is set to 0 for ESXi. Is there anyway to configure this value to increase the max collector on an ESXi?
For the event manager the max collector is set to 1000.
Edit: In the vSphere Web Services SDK Programming Guide discovered "You cannot run this method against an ESX/ESXi system" not sure if the CreateTaskCollector operation has no bearing on the maxCollector property being set greater than 0 or is the cause. Even though the operation exists in the MOB and the event history collector is supported.
