Just spent several days to implement an Eclipse plugin so that you can get started with VI SDK development in Java within 5 minutes in Eclipse.
No need to read many pages of docs before getting started. No worry about what jars should be included, etc. Once you create a VI Java API project (http://vijava.sf.net) using Wizard, we configure everything for you.
You can also new a Java class from one of the templates. I just included one template which generated code like the following.
It can be also automatically downloadable. I tested with both Eclipse 3.3 and 3.4. In both cases it works great.
Anything more you would like to have?
