Using the VI SDK, I would like to detect that an alarm condition has been satisfied, but would like to perform my own action. I get anInvalidRequest exception if I do not specify an action, or specify an action that is empty. I even tried creating my own action stub by extending the Action class (but I don't think that's possible). I want to just monitor alarm states and customize response when it goes red. This is with SDK v2 against ESX 3.
