How to retrieve the SCSI ID Number

We've been trying for months now to find a way to query the SCSI ID number (i.e., SCSI 0:7)...Has anyone had any luck doing this?

Have you taken a look at the scsiLun object: http://www.vmware.com/support/developer/vc-sdk/visdk25pubs/ReferenceGuide/vim.host.ScsiLun.html#cano... not all information is exposed through the VI API.
