Is there any vSphere API or VDDK method to retrieve partition information (partition table layout) of specified VMDK? something like IOCTL_DISK_GET_DRIVE_LAYOUT for physical drives. I would like to know the following information.
1. Partition number
2. Starting offset
3. partition length
4. partition type.
