How to modiy static IP address and hostname when cloning

Do you have sample code or rest api calls to programmatically modify static ip address (no dhcp) and hostname of a clone vm running red hat or centos e.g. passing arguments to /rest/vcenter/vm?action=clone

If you choose "Report Inappropriate Content" from the "3 dots" menu to the right of a post you can ask moderators to move the post, which is better than a user creating a new post and leaving this one behind.
