How to measure the memory being utilized by a virtual machine

I used VMware server 1.0.4 . I want to fetch the virtual machine performance details

( Main Memory Usage , CPU Usage for each virtual macine) for this which API can I use?

Looks like you have to go for the VIX API:

It seems to me that VMware Server 2 can be maintained by VirtualCenter too, which then would possibly make this forum fullfill your needs
