How do I monitor messages between vCenter and ESX

I would lilke to monitor the traffic between vCenter and vSphere-Client.

Since the connection is SSL I have changed the vCenter to "httpAndHttps" for sdk in proxy.xml. How do I tell vSphere Client to use http instead of https.

Is there a way to include the SOAP-XML messagesin the log file of the vCenter? T"Trivia" level does not dump the entire message.

Hi Sanjay,

In order to connect over http, you need to explicitly write port no after the server ip, when you connect via the VI Client. By default the http port is 80. Hence, the IP would be

Just curious, what do you want to do by monitoring messages between vCenter and ESX? Or you want to monitor the message between vSphere Client to any of these two?
