Please can you elaborate on what you meant by active management implemented in the CIM SDK. If you are trying to manage Storage, or fetch hardware information then you cant do it using ESX 3.0.1. Incase you want to access Virtual infrastructure and perform some tasks like Virtual Machine Power On/Off using CIM then this provision is available with ESX 3.0.1.
