About connection of vCenterServer

I have a question about connection of vCenterServer.
Please teach me the method of managing vCenter connections(with vSphareClient,WebServiceSDK).

example:
Although it did login to vCenterServer, It did not logout.
then, How is the connection managed?
Does the connection keep?
or
When the fixed time passes, is the connection annulled?

Does the session have validity term?

Enviroment:
vSphere ESX 4.0u1/vSphere ESX 4.1u1
vCenterServer4.0u1/vCenterServer4.1u1

I'm sorry to my poor English.
Sincerely yours
