vcenter upgrade pre check tool

Can the vMA perform this task?

Also can vMA oerform an  assessment on the virtual machine hardware version prior to an upgrade?

If not is any one aware of tools to assist in this matter

vCenter ISO has a inbuilt pre-upgrade check tools which will report the erros which would be prevent the upgrade
