vMA 5.1 or 5.5 not pingable from other subnets

Dears,

you know vMA require IP pool, i did it then after deploy vMA 5.1 or 5.5 then the vMA not pingable, its only pingable from same subnet machines.

I believe its an issue with the gateway. Please try the following steps, and repost if the problem persists;


sudo vi /etc/sysconfig/network/routes

#Add a line "default your_gateway_ip dev eth0"

sudo service netwok restart

Check if there is no firewall blocking ICMP between subnets and vMA also have a internal firewall, then you may need add a new rule to allow ICMP from different subnet of try disable firewall for tests.

And of course, make sure you setting up the correct gateway on vMA.

No firewall dear, by the way if i use the vMA 5.0 is working fine but 5.1 or 5.5 because the need IP pool then not working fine.
