How many hosts can be managed by a single vMA?

Hello,

Is there any limit on the number of hosts that can be managed by a vMA? ANy limit on the number of VMs? Is there any best practice guide on this?

THanks!

Are you planning on just use it to run commands and scripts? If so I don't think you'll have any limit and you'll hit a limit for vcenter / ESXi host for host / VM counts. If you're logging with vilogger then the number of hosts you can collect log from will depends on the load of those hosts.

In the documentation/release notes, VMware has tested up to 100 hosts under normal load. The recommendation is if you have greater than 100, you'll want additional vMA systems.
